- Publish Code,

Content & Reporting Policy
Last updated: September 17, 2026
This policy applies to notifications, channel information, attachments, and links published or delivered through alrim.me, alrim.io, and related apps. Publishers must have the necessary rights to the content they send and comply with applicable law and this policy.
1. Prohibited content and conduct
- Child sexual exploitation or abuse, sexual exploitation material, unlawful intimate recordings, and non-consensual sexual content
- Explicit sexual content, graphic violence, and content encouraging or threatening real-world violence or self-harm
- Incitement of hatred or discrimination, targeted harassment, stalking, and threats
- Fraud, phishing, malware, impersonation, spam including unwanted repeated or bulk notifications, and abuse of the service
- Unauthorized disclosure of personal or confidential information, copyright infringement, and violations of others' rights
- Other content that violates applicable law or facilitates unlawful activity
2. How to report
In versions that support channel reporting, open the channel, then select Channel settings → Report channel, below Unsubscribe. Describe the issue in up to 2,000 characters and choose Submit report or Report and unsubscribe.
- Include useful context, such as the notification time and why it is a concern. Notification history and attachments are not automatically sent with a report.
- Do not include Publish Codes, passwords, sensitive personal information, or copies of illegal content.
- If reporting is unavailable or fails, or for rights complaints and inquiries requiring a reply, email [email protected]. Include the channel code or public link, relevant time, and a description of the issue to help us locate it.
In-app reporting does not require contact details and currently provides neither a case-status view nor automatic outcome notifications. A receipt confirms intake, not a finding of a violation or completion of any action.
3. Intake and review principles
In-app reports are stored on the server for operator review. When reviewing a report, we consider the available report and records, severity, repeated conduct, people's safety and rights, and applicable law. Additional explanation may be needed when evidence is insufficient; a report alone does not establish a violation.
For confirmed issues, we may consider necessary responses within the operational means available to us and our legal obligations, such as asking the publisher to correct or stop the conduct, or removing or restricting access to material managed by the service. This does not guarantee a particular action or response time for every report. Send additional context or requests to reconsider a review to the email above.
The current reporting feature provides intake and storage. It does not automatically delete content or suspend a channel or publisher when a report is submitted. For immediate physical danger or a crime in progress, contact the appropriate emergency authorities rather than relying only on this feature.
4. Filtering and receiving controls
We do not currently operate a server-side system that pre-reviews the meaning of all content or automatically detects and blocks objectionable content. Input-format and size validation and request-rate limits are security and abuse-prevention measures, not content moderation.
Personal filters and sound settings available in some clients affect presentation or notifications on that device. Support varies by platform and version. These controls do not delete server content or block delivery to other users.
Unsubscribe removes the channel subscription on that device. Report and unsubscribe attempts to unsubscribe only after a report is accepted; if intake fails, the subscription is kept. Unsubscribing may delete that device's channel settings and local notification history. It does not affect other devices and is not a permanent block of every channel from the publisher.
5. Report information and contact
In-app reports store the channel code, text you enter, request identifier, submission time, and requesting IP address for report intake and abuse prevention. Records older than 90 days are removed by hourly cleanup and when the service starts. See the Privacy Policy for information handling and deletion requests.
